Hypertensive diseases develop slowly, but it is potentially very dangerous. Hypertension is a systolic blood pressure over 140 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure over 90 mmHg. Treatment of hypertension can be done with non-pharmacologic therapy and pharmacological therapy. One non-pharmacologic therapy is to bruise. This study aimed to determine the effect of wet cupping therapy to decrease blood pressure in patients with hypertension at griya's clinic healthy madina Pekalongan. The research design was pre-experimental research design one group pretest-posttest design. Sample selection uses purposive sampling with the sample as many as 20 respondents. The statistical test used the paired sample t-test with 5%. The result of statistic examination shows the ρ value of systole blood pressure before and after doing wet cupping therapy (0.003) lower than the alpha value (0.05), ρ value of diastole blood pressure before and after doing the wet cupping therapy (0.002), so that Ho is rejected. Results showed no effect of wet cupping therapy to decrease blood pressure in patients with hypertension at griya's clinic healthy madina Pekalongan. Suggestions researchers, wet cupping therapy can be used as non-pharmacological nursing actions performed nurses to lower blood pressure in hypertensive patients independently.rnrnrnKey words : Wet Cupping Therapy, Hypertension rnBibliography : 19 books (2002-2013), 2 websites
