PERAWATAN DAN PERBAIKAN SISTEM AIR CONDITIONER PADA TRAINER AC MOBIL MITSUBISHI L300

ABSTRAK
Pengunaan sistem Air Conditioner pada saat ini sangat diperlukan pada kendaraan untuk menambah kenyamanan pengendara. Sehingga menuntut bidang pengetahuan untuk mempelajari sistem AC tersebut. Namun terkadang pembelajaran pada ilmu teknologi khususnya teknik mesin tidak efektif apabila tidak menggunakan alat peraga atau trainer pada saat pembelajaran pertama pada siswa/mahasiswa. Sehingga dengan adanya permasalahan tersebut, penulis berniat untuk membuat trainer dengan tujuan untuk mempermudah siswa/mahasiswa dalam praktek, khususnya ketika praktek Sistem Air Conditioner, juga ingin memberikan data-data terkait dengan perawatan dan perbaikan pada sistem Air Conditioner. Metode yang dilakukan pada tugas akhir ini adalah dengan metode pengumpulan data awal, yang dimana melakukan studi literature dan wawancara untuk memahami sistem rancangan yang akan dibuat.serta untuk memperluas pemahaman akan rancangan-rancangan yang telah dibuat sebelumnya. Kemudian mengidentifikasi permasalahan atau kendala yang terdapat pada sistem AC yang didapatkan. Pada hasil pengerjaan terdapat kerusakan pada komponen. Sehingga perlu dilakukan perbaikan seperti pada kelistrikan evaporator, pergantian komponen pada kondensor dan relay karena sudah tidak memungkinkan untuk diperbaiki. Dan pada komponen komponen lainnya juga perlu dibersihkan karena bahan yang didapat adalah sistem Air Conditioner yang sudah lama mangkrak, atau tidak digunakan. Setelah selesai dilakukan perbaikan, trainer di nyalakan dan dilakukan pengukuran temperatur kedinginan dari evaporator. Dan mendapatkan hasil 12o durasi 5 menit setelah sistem dinyalakan dengan artian perawatan dan perbaikan berhasil dilakukan.

ABSTRACT
The use of an Air Conditioning system is currently very necessary in vehicles to increase driver comfort. So it requires a field of knowledge to study the AC system. However, sometimes learning in technology, especially mechanical engineering, is not effective if students do not use teaching aids or trainers during the first lesson. So with these problems, the author intends to create a trainer with the aim of making it easier for students to practice, especially when practicing the Air Conditioner System, and also wants to provide data related to maintenance and repair of the Air Conditioner system. The method used in this final assignment is the initial data collection method, which involves conducting literature studies and interviews to understand the design system that will be created, as well as to expand understanding of the designs that have been previously created. Then identify the problems or constraints found in the AC system obtained. In the workmanship there is damage to the components. So repairs need to be made such as the evaporator electricity, replacing components in the condenser and relays because it is no longer possible to repair them. And the other components also need to be cleaned because the material obtained is an air conditioning system that has been out of service for a long time, or has not been used. After completing the repair, the trainer is turned on and the cold temperature measurement of the evaporator is carried out. And get a result of 12o for a duration of 5 minutes after the system is turned on, meaning that maintenance and repairs have been carried out successfully.
