Health Faculty Nurse Study Program University of Muhammadiyah Pekajangan Pekalongan July, 2019 ABSTRACT Indah Wulandari, Herni Rejeki Description Of Mother’s Knowledge About Exclusive Association In The Working Area Of Banjardawa Health Center, Pemalang District Xiii, 6 chapters, 65 pages, 9 tables, 1 scheme, 8 attachments Exclusive breastfeeding is pure breastfeeding, ie, only breastfeeding for 6 months without additional food or drink. so that it can affect mother's knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding. This study describes the description of mother's knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding in the work area of Banjardawa Public Health Center, Pemalang Regency. The design of this study uses descriptive. The sampling technique uses total sampling with a total sample of 112 respondents. The tool for collecting data uses a knowledge questionnaire. The results showed a description of the characteristics of the category of age 74 respondents (66.1%) aged 36 - 45 years, education category 84 respondents (75%) had basic education, occupational categories 107 respondents (95.5%) had housewife employment age category child 97 respondents (86.6%) had a frequency of children over the age of 6 months. Category of children number 55 respondents (49.1%) have number of children 1. Categories of information sources 112 respondents (100%) get midwives as sources of information for mothers and Overview of knowledge of mothers about Exclusive Asi in the Work Area of Banjardawa Public Health Center, Pemalang Regency, mostly 102 respondents ( 91.1%) have good knowledge. The results of this study are expected to used as input about the practice of nurturing the development of knowledge of pregnant women about exclusive breastfeeding.
