Hubungan Antara Flat Foot Dengan Keseimbangan Pada Anak Usia 4-6 Tahun Di TK Islam Nusantara Kota Pekalongan
Pendahuluan: Flat foot merupakan kondisi menurunnya lengkung longitudinal medial kaki, diduga memengaruhi keseimbangan akibat perubahan biomekanik dan kontrol postural. Usia 4–6 tahun merupakan periode penting perkembangan motorik dan pembentukan lengkung kaki sehingga perlu deteksi dini.
Metode: Penelitian analitik observasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel 40 anak usia 4–6 tahun dengan flat foot di TK Islam Nusantara Kota Pekalongan, dipilih dengan total sampling. Flat foot diukur menggunakan Clarke's Angle, keseimbangan diukur menggunakan Pediatric Balance Scale (PBS). Analisis data menggunakan uji Spearman Rank, α = 0,05.
Hasil: Sebagian besar responden berusia 5 tahun (52,5%) dan laki-laki (60%). Sebagian besar mengalami flat foot grade 3 (90%). Sebanyak 36 anak (90%) memiliki keseimbangan baik dan 4 anak (10%) moderat. Uji Spearman Rank menunjukkan p = 0,495 (p > 0,05), r = -0,111, menunjukkan hubungan sangat lemah dan tidak signifikan.
Diskusi: Tidak terdapat hubungan signifikan antara flat foot dengan keseimbangan pada anak usia 4–6 tahun di TK Islam Nusantara Kota Pekalongan. Sebagian besar anak dengan flat foot tetap memiliki keseimbangan baik, karena sistem sensorik dan kontrol postural anak prasekolah masih berkembang. Faktor lain seperti usia, aktivitas fisik, dan perkembangan motorik turut berperan.
