ABSTRAK
Perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan kian pesat, sehingga mendorong manusia untuk mempelajari ilmu pengetahuan lebih dalam lagi, khususnya pada bidang otomotif. Salah satu ilmu pengetahuan di bidang otomotif adalah sistem bahan bakar pada kendaraan roda empat atau mobil. Sistem bahan bakar berfungsi sebagai penyuplai campuran bahan bakar dengan udara yang akan di salurkan menuju ke ruang bakar sehingga menghasilkan tenaga yang dapat menggerakan mobil. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kerusakan, gangguan dan cara mengatasi sistem bahan bakar. Metode yang di lakukan dalam tugas akhir ini adalah dengan pengambilan data komponen sistem bahan bakar pada mesin Daihatsu Zebra 1.3, dan kemudian di sesuaikan dengan spesifikasi yang ada pada buku manual sehingga dapat di ketahui apakah komponen yang terdapat pada sistem bahan bakar tersebut masih baik atau tidak. Dari hasil pemeriksaan komponen sistem bahan bakar didapatkan hasil bahwa, seluruh komponen sistem bahan bakar dalam keadaan baik dan dapat bekerja sesuai dengan fungsinya. Setelah melakukan pengujian putaran idle di dapatkan hasil 800 rpm dengan spesifikasi standar 700-800 rpm.

ABSTRACT

The rapid development of science encourages human to study it more deeply, especially in the automotive field. One of them is fuel system in four-wheeled vehicles or cars. This system function as a supplier of a mixture of fuel and air wich will be channeled to the combustion chamber to produce power that can move the car. This study aims to detect damage, problems, and how to deal with the fuel system. The method is taking data of fuel system components on the Daihatsu Zebra 1.3. Furthermore, this is adjusted to the specifications in the manual so you can know whether the components in the fuel system are still good or not. From the checking the components of the fuel system, it obtained all components of the system are in the good condition and they can work as the function. In other side, after testing the idle speed, the results were 800 rpm with standard specifications of 700-800 rpm.
