EVALUASI TINGKAT KEPATUHAN PENGGUNAAN OBAT ANTIHIPERTENSI PADA PASIEN LANSIA USIA 45-59 TAHUN DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS WONOPRINGGO PERIODE JUNI 2019

Hypertension is a chronic disease that needs continuous treatment. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of adherence in elderly patients aged 45-59 years in the use of hypertension drugs in the work area of ​​the Wonopringgo Health Center in the June 2019 period. The research method used was descriptive with a sampling technique that was purposive sampling. The sample of this study was 39 respondents. Hypertensive patients with or without complications, get an envelope drug The data analysis was used univariate analysis. The results obtained that the highest level of education the elementary level of 28 respondents (71.8%), based on work was unemployment of 26 respondents (66.7%) (mostly housewives) and based on the length of suffering <3 years a number 22 respondents (56.4%). Compliance with medication from 39 respondents found a number of 22 respondents (56.4%) who did not comply with medication. Advice for health workers to provide health education about compliance hypertension medication.
