Xv+65pages, 8 tables, 1 scheme, 14 appendices Crhonic Kidney Disease patients under go hemodialysis whole of their lifes Patients with CKD have to have hemodialysis a long his life, so this long term process caused psychological stressor. This research was proposed to know the correlation of the length of hemodialysis toward stress level. This research design was descriptive correlation with cross sectional approach. The data were collected using Perceived Stress Scale (PSS) question naire. Univariat and bivariate analysis were done for this study with 52 participants involved. Univariate nalysis result showed that among 52 patients who have to undergo hemodialysis treatment, 51.9% of them has been under hemodialysis treatment >24 months and most of the participants were on the moderate stress level (26.9%). Bivariate analysis provide ρ value 0.002 with coefficient correlation (r) 0.465 (0.26-0.50). this results stated there were association between the lenth of hemodialisys treatment with the level of stress. the longer CKD patients has dyalisis treatment, the higher their level of stress with moderate level of association. This study suggested the health care provider to involve the family to put attention to the psychological condition of CKD patient with spiritual well being to build a positive mind in order not to get stressed easily.
