Gambaran Kadar HBA1C pada Peserta PROLANIS Pasca Pandemi COVID-19 di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Kota Pekalongan


Latar Belakang: Jumlah penderita diabetes mengalami peningkatan setiap tahunnya. Tatalaksana glikemik yang maksimal, meliputi pengendalian nilai HbA1C dapat mencegah terjadinya komplikasi pada pasien diabetes melitus. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran kadar HBA1C pada peserta PROLANIS pasca pandemi COVID-19 di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Kota Pekalongan.
Metode: Penelitian ini berjenis kuantitatif dengan menggunakan desain studi dokumen. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah dokumen RM peserta PROLANIS diabetes melitus sebanyak 334. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik proportionate stratified random sampling. Analisis data penelitian dilakukan secara univariat. Pada data jenis kelamin analisis data dilakukan untuk mengetahui distribusi frekuensi, sedangkan pada data usia dan kadar HbA1C dilakukan untuk mengetahui mean dan standar deviasi.
Hasil: Hasil analisis menunjukkan kadar HbA1C pada responden penelitian rata-rata 8,7% (SD = 2.62), dengan rentang 4.1% - 15%.
Simpulan: Rata-rata kadar HbA1C responden termasuk tinggi, yaitu 8,7%. Perawat terutama pemegang program PROLANIS diharapkan untuk lebih aktif dalam melakukan sosialisasi program PROLANIS yang mengalami diabetes melitus mengingat masih tingginya kadar HbA1C yang tidak terkontrol pada penderita diabetes melitus. Perawat juga diharapkan lebih banyak melakukan edukasi tentang pencegahan komplikasi diabetes melitus melalui aktivitas fisik, gaya hidup dan pola makan.
