Bachelor of Science in Nursing Faculty of Health Sciences University of Muhammadiyah PekajanganPekalongan August,2019 ABSTRACT Aqilatul Mukaromah, Nur Izzah Priyogo A Correlation between the Level of Education and Knowledge of Hypertension with the Complience to Conduct Regular PROLANIS Checks in Hypertensive Patients in the Work Area of Kedungwuni Health Center II Pekalongan Regency XV + 68Pages + 7 Tables + 1 Schemes + 12 Attachments Hypertension is a disease that can cause complications including stroke, kidney failure, heart disease. Knowledge and understanding of hypertensive patients’ about the disease is vey important, because hypertensive patients require routine treatment processes, PROLANIS is a treatment program for hypertensive patients. The purpose of this study was to find out the relationship between the level of education and knowledge about hypertension with the patients compliance with PROLANIS checks in the work area of the Kedungwuni Health Center II in Pekalongan Regency. This study used descriptive correlation research design with cross sectional approach. 59 respondent were taken by using a total sampling technique. The result chi square test resulted to p value = 0.001, therefore Ho was rejected because there was a significant connection between education rate with the complience of having PROLANIS checks. While the chi square test to determine the relationship knowledge about hypertension with the complience of having PROLANIS checks resulted P value = 0.012, It means that was Ho rejected because there was a significant correlation between knowledge about hypertension with the complience of having regular PROLANIS checks. The suggestion is that the PROLANIS program which has been well maintained and increased again by conducting socialization activities is the importance of conducting routine PROLANIS checks.
