HUBUNGAN SELF EFFICACY DENGAN KUALITAS HIDUP PASIEN HEMODIALISA DI RSUD KRATON KABUPATEN PEKALONGAN

Chronic kidney failure amounted to 30 million people or around 15% in USA, then for 48% had low kidney function but they did not realize that it was a chronic kidney failure the incidence of chronic kidney failure in Indonesia was 3.8%. This study describes the relationship between self efficacy and the quality of life of hemodialysis patients in Kraton Hospital Pekalongan Regency. The design of this study uses descriptive correlation. The sampling technique uses total sampling with a total sample of 112 respondents. The data collection tool uses the self efficacy questionnaire and quality of life questionnaire. The results of the study were 59 respondents (52.7%) positive self efficacy 70 respondents (62.5%) good quality of life. There is a relationship of self efficacy with the quality of life of hemodialysis patients at Kraton Regional Hospital in Pekalongan Regency with a p value of 0.001 (α = 0.05). The results of this study are expected to be a recommendation for hemodialysis patients with positive self efficacy which is very important for hemodialysis patients, positive self efficacy can increase patient confidence to heal and meet therapeutic regimens so that it is expected that the quality of life of hemodialysis patients will improve.
