Xiii, 6 chapters, 61 pages, 8 tables, 1 schemes, 8 appendices Low birth weight (LBW) can be interpreted as a baby born with a body weight of less than 2500 grams so that it can affect their growth and development. To achieve an optimum growth, health care providers’ knowledge to provide a good quality of care in accordance with neonates’ developmental care needs is potent. This study aimed to examine the description of knowledge and perceptions of health care providers about the practice of developmental care in Low Birth Weight infants in the Perinatologyof Kajen and Kraton General Hospital. This is a descriptive study using total sampling technique recruited 30 respondents. The data collection tool used were knowledge and perception questionnaire. The results of the study show of the knowledge of health care providers about developmental care practices. The study found that 22 respondents (73.3%) had good knowledge and Overview of Perception of Health care providers about developmental care practices in Infants Low Birth Weight In the Perinatology ward of Kajen and Kraton Hospital in Pekalongan Regency, most of the respondents were 53.3% who had good perceptions. The results of this study recommend so that health care providers can optimally improve services in providing developmental care for low birth weight babies.
