SURVEI KEPADATAN JENTIK NYAMUK AEDES AEGYPTI PADA PENAMPUNGAN AIR DALAM RUMAH DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS TIRTO II KABUPATEN PEKALONGAN

Background: Aedes aegypti mosquito is a vector of dengue hemorrhagic fever. The density of the Aedes aegypti mosquito as an indicator of transmission and the spread of dengue hemorrhagic fever can be seen from its breeding place, namely water storage. Purpose: This study aimed to determine the description of larvae density of Aedes aegypti mosquitoes in indoor water reservoirs in the Work Area of Tirto II Health Center, Pekalongan Regency. Method: The descriptive design was used in this study. There are 274 housing units were observed using cluster sampling technique. The observation checklist adopted from basic health research department was used to assess the sample. Results: show that the House Index was 32, 1%, Container Index was 13, 7%, Breteau Index was 42, 7% and Larvae Free Numbers were 68%. Conclusion: With the discovery of larvae in water shelters, it is hoped that the Jeruksari Village community can play an active role in eradicating dengue hemorrhagic fever through activities to eradicate mosquito nests.
