This study aimed to make a describe of pulmonary TB patients in applying prevention of transmission of pulmonary TB in the working area of Karangdadap Health Center, Pekalongan Regency. The design of this study was descriptive methods with cross sectional approach. The sample consisted of 30 pulmonary TB patients who were undergoing medical treatment. The sampling technique was total sampling technique. The method of collecting data was a measuring instrument in the form of a behavioral prevention questionnaire for pulmonary TB disease transmission. The data was analyzed by using a Univariate analysis techniques in the form of frequency distribution tables and percentages. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that most of the samples had good behavior towards the prevention of transmission of 16 samples with a percentage of 53%. While the samples that did not behave well towards the prevention were 14 samples with a percentage of 47%. From this behavioral research, it can be concluded that some pulmonary TB patient did not prevent transmission. This data can be used by Karangdadap Health center to improve services and provide counseling related to prevention of pulmonary TB desease transmission. Keywords: behavior, prevention, pulmonary TB.
