ABSTRACT Parasit tea is one of the traditionl medicinal plants in Indonesia that has been used as an anticancer. This study aims to determine the potential toxicity of the partitioning of n-heksan and methanol from extracts of parasite tea using the BSLT method. 10 artemia larvae aged 48 hours were used in each test group, which were divided into 5 groups with 3 replications. The test material was extracted from the tea parasite with a concentration of 2, 4, 6, 10 and 12 µg/mL. N-heksan partition are 2, 4, 6, 10 and 12 µg/mL and methanol partition are 2, 6, 12,15 and 20 µg/mL. Data were obtained from counting the number of larvae that died 24 hours after treatment. Probit analysis was performed using computer applications to obtain LC50. The results showed that the methanol partition had the highest toxicity with an LC50 is 3,8 µg/mL. While the extract of LC50 is 7,9 µg/mL and the n-heksan partition is 4,7 µg/mL. The group of compounds that have the potential to be anticancer are flavonoids. Keywords : Parasite tea, Extract, Partition, Shrimp Larvae, LC50.
