Undergraduate Nursing Program Faculty Of Health Science Muhammadiyah University Pekajangan Pekalongan August, 2019 ABSTRACK Triska Erowati, Dafid Arifiyanto Description Of Self-Efficacy And Diabetes Mellitus Management Behavior In Patients With Type 2 Diabetes In The Working Area Of Karangdadap Health Center, Pekalongan Regency Xiii, 6 chapters, 78 pages, 13 tables, 1 scheme, 8 attachments Diabetes mellitus is a group of metabolic disorders characterized by an increase in blood glucose levels or hyperglycemia due to impaired insulin secretion so that it is necessary to increase self-efficacy and DM management behavior in patients. This study tried to describe the Self-Efficacy and Behavior of DM Management in Type 2 DM Patients in the Work Area of Karangdadap Health Center in Pekalongan Regency. This research used descriptive design. The sampling technique was cluster random sampling with a total sample of 61 respondents. The data collection tools were self-efficacy questionnaires and DM management behavior. The results showed a description of self-efficacy in patients with type 2 DM in the working area of Karangdadap Health Center in Pekalongan District, which as not good (34 respondents or 55,7 %) and description of the management of DM in patients with type 2 DM in the working area of Karangdadap Health Center in Pekalongan Regency. Besides mose of the respondents (35 or 57,4%) in the working area of Karangdadap Health Center in Pekalongan Regency had bad behavior, (35 respondents 57.4%). The results of this study are expected to be used as information and references in developing science, especially about the description of management behavior in patients with DM.
